Arzberg

The Arzberg rises to 507.1 metres above sea level as one of the prominent summits of the southern Fränkische Alb, straddling the district boundary between Eichstätt and Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. Its limestone massif is characteristic of the Jurassic upland landscape, with beech forest cover and exposed rock outcrops typical of the region. Walking trails lead to the summit, where the hilltop opens to broad views across the forested Alb plateau between Beilngries and Dietfurt — a quiet half-day hike suitable for families and casual walkers alike.
