Buffalo Bull Knob

Buffalo Bull Knob is a wooded summit in Webster County, West Virginia, located near the small town of Webster Springs. At 2,799 feet (853 m) it ranks 445th among West Virginia's highest peaks — a modest but characteristically Appalachian ridgeline rise set within dense second-growth forest. Hikers access the summit via logging roads and backcountry trails in the sparsely populated interior of the state. The top offers open views over the rolling forested ridges of central West Virginia, well away from any developed tourist infrastructure.
