Amselflue Westgipfel

The Amselflue Westgipfel is a secondary summit of the Amselflue massif, which reaches 2781 m in the Plessur Alps of the Swiss canton of Graubünden, situated along the southeastern ridge of the Strela chain between Arosa and Davos Glaris. The main Amselflue ridge marks the municipal boundary between Arosa and Davos — an unusual administrative divide running across a high alpine crestline. The west peak offers open views toward the Furggahorn, Schiesshorn, and Valbellahorn, with valley perspectives down toward Arosa. Reaching it requires solid alpine hiking experience; the standard approach follows the Strela chain from Arosa.
