Calestienne

The Calestienne is a narrow limestone-geology band running along the Belgian-French border in the Ardennes region, known for its distinctive chalk-grassland flora that thrives on the thin, alkaline soils. This garden, managed by the Cercles des Naturalistes de Belgique, is dedicated to observing and conserving that characteristic limestone vegetation.
