Eisenleithe (Zwergbuchs Leubetha)

Eisenleithe is a protected nature reserve near Adorf in the Vogtland region of Saxony, designated in part for its rare wild population of dwarf box (Buxus sempervirens) — an exceptionally uncommon native occurrence in central Germany, reflected in the site's informal name 'Zwergbuchs Leubetha'. The small wooded valley offers quiet walking away from main tourist routes. Botanically inclined visitors will find it a notable example of a naturally occurring Buxus stand far outside the plant's typical Central European range.
