Küp Şelaleleri
Küp Şelaleleri — roughly 'Jug Waterfalls' — is a series of cascades tucked into a remote mountain valley outside Kozan in Turkey's Adana province. The water is remarkably clear in dry conditions, and the surrounding high-mountain scenery makes the valley worth the journey even without swimming. The approach is part of the experience: a narrow, dark, primitive tunnel cuts through the rock before the valley opens up, adding a raw, adventurous feel. The dirt road is passable for most cars. After rain the river rises rapidly and the current becomes strong enough to be dangerous, so timing matters. Basic camping is possible in the valley, though visitors note littering in the river corridor and facilities that could use improvement.
