NHK Spring Mitsuzawa Football Stadium

The NHK Spring Mitsuzawa Football Stadium, in Japanese Nippatsu Mitsuzawa kyugijo, sits in Mitsuzawa Park in Yokohama's Kanagawa ward. Opened in 1955 and repeatedly renovated, it now seats around 15000 and is considered one of the more intimate J-League venues thanks to stands that come right up to the touchline. It serves primarily as home ground for Yokohama FC and the reserve sides of Yokohama F. Marinos and YSCC Yokohama, and occasionally hosts rugby and American football matches. Unlike the giant Nissan Stadium nearby, Mitsuzawa offers fans a direct sightline to the pitch with no running track in between. A short ride on the Yokohama subway and a gentle climb through the park lead to the entrance.
