Prenzlauer Tor

The Prenzlauer Tor is a surviving remnant of Angermünde's medieval town fortifications in the Uckermark district of Brandenburg. Once one of the town gates guarding the road toward Prenzlau, it is characteristic of the brick-Gothic defensive architecture common to small Brandenburg towns of the 13th and 14th centuries. It is preserved today as a monument marking one of the historic entry points into the old town.
