Ocean Financial Centre
Singapore
Also known as: Standard Chartered Bank Building (former name)
Six Battery Road is a commercial high-rise in Singapore's central business district, opened in 1984 as the Standard Chartered Bank Building. The street name traces back to the British colonial era, when a Royal Artillery coastal battery occupied the site. Today the tower is a representative example of Singapore's 1980s office architecture, housing international finance and consulting firms, with no particular tourist or cultural significance beyond its CBD address.
