One Raffles Place

One Raffles Place, originally OUB Centre, is a 280-metre skyscraper in Singapore's Central Business District. Designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange and completed in 1986, it was the tallest building outside North America for four years and remains one of the city's defining skyline towers. The building belongs to United Overseas Bank, which gave it its original name. Together with the neighbouring Republic Plaza and UOB Plaza One, it forms the trio that dominates the Raffles Place skyline. The ground floor connects directly to the Raffles Place MRT station, though there is no public observation deck.
