Acropolis Museum

Bernard Tschumi Acropolis Museum at the foot of the citadel hill is a museum building as political statement: the glass Parthenon Gallery on the top floor has the exact dimensions of the ancient temple and is oriented towards it - a constant reminder of the Elgin Marbles still in London. Opened in 2009, it holds all original Acropolis finds.
