The ArtScience Museum sits within the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort in Singapore's Downtown Core, opened on 17 February 2011 by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Architect Moshe Safdie designed the building to resemble a blooming lotus flower: ten column-like petals rise and curl outward, their tips open to a circular skylight that floods the interior with natural light. As Singapore's largest private museum, it hosts rotating exhibitions that sit at the intersection of art, science, culture, and technology — ranging from immersive digital-media installations to retrospectives on scientific pioneers. Open daily from 10:00 to 19:00, admission fee applies, Wi-Fi available on-site.
