Aussichtsturm Rödlas

The Rödlas observation tower — locally known as the Massenrichter Turm — is a 32-metre concrete structure standing at around 570 metres above sea level near Hirschau in the Amberg-Sulzbach district of Bavaria. Built in 1977 by the Oberpfälzer Waldverein hiking association, it sits just below the summit of the Rödlasberg. The tower offers broad views across the forested hill country of the Upper Palatinate and is reached via marked hiking trails, making it a straightforward family outing or rest-stop on longer walks through the region.
