Auf dem Acker

Auf dem Acker is a forested ridge in the Upper Harz mountains of Lower Saxony, reaching up to 865 metres above sea level in the district of Göttingen. The elongated summit belongs to the Harz range and is characterised by dense spruce forests typical of the region's higher elevations. Marked hiking trails lead across the ridge, offering open views over the surrounding woodland — a quiet, off-the-beaten-track destination well away from the more visited Harz peaks.
