Ažušilės piliakalnis

The Ažušilės piliakalnis near Dūkštas in northeastern Lithuania is a prehistoric hill fort — one of over 800 such earthwork mounds scattered across Lithuania, used during the Iron Age and early medieval period as defensive strongholds and ritual sites. These piliakalniai are among the most tangible remnants of pre-Christian Baltic civilization, predating the Christianization of Lithuania in 1387.
