Babelsberg

Potsdam-Babelsberg is an S-Bahn station on the extended Wannseebahn line, positioned between Griebnitzsee and Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Its station building dates to 1862 and is listed on Potsdam's monument register, making it one of the oldest surviving structures on the line. Despite sharing a near-identical name, it is entirely separate from Potsdam Medienstadt Babelsberg station in the Drewitz district — a mix-up that occasionally sends travellers in the wrong direction. The station has no step-free access.
