Bayerischer Platz

Bayerischer Platz U-Bahn station sits beneath the square of the same name in Berlin's Bavarian Quarter in Schöneberg, and is one of the oldest continuously operating stations in the Berlin metro network. It opened on 1 December 1910 as part of the Schöneberg municipal underground railway — today's U4 line — and since 1970 has also served the U7, making it an underground interchange with two separate island-platform levels. The original Wilhelmine-era station structures are listed monuments. The station is fully wheelchair accessible.
