Frankfurt (Oder) railway station

Frankfurt (Oder) railway station is the city's main passenger hub and one of the most significant stations in the state of Brandenburg. Since 1945 it has served as a border station toward Poland — a direct consequence of Germany's postwar eastern boundary being redrawn along the Oder-Neiße line. A building from the original, northerly station site is listed as a heritage monument, as is the nearby Kiliansberg railway workers' housing estate with its World War I memorial on the station forecourt. Today the station handles both long-distance trains and regional services crossing into Rzepin and Poznań.
