Noboribetsu Station

Noboribetsu Station sits in the city of Noboribetsu in Hokkaido's Iburi subprefecture, and has served the area since its opening in 1892 during the Meiji era. It operates today as a local stop on the JR Muroran Main Line. For most visitors it functions primarily as a gateway to the nearby hot-spring resorts and the Jigokudani volcanic valley rather than a destination in its own right.
