Papar railway station
Colonial EraRailway Station
Otjiwarongo Railway Station is the only rail facility in the central Namibian town of Otjiwarongo, situated in the Otjozondjupa Region. The line was laid during the German colonial era, primarily to move cattle and goods from the interior highlands toward the coast. Passenger traffic has largely ceased, leaving the station as a quiet remnant of colonial-era infrastructure that still shapes Namibia's rail network today.
