Spa railway station
Spa railway station sits on the line from Verviers and once served as a junction for a route toward Luxembourg. The branch toward Trois Ponts was closed to passenger traffic in 1959 and fully dismantled by 1973; the nearest active stop, Spa-Géronstère, now lies about one kilometre from the town centre. The station stands as a quiet remnant of the postwar contraction of Belgium's regional rail network.
