Wehrheim station

Wehrheim station serves the village of Wehrheim on the Friedrichsdorf–Albshausen line in the Taunus hills north of Frankfurt. The station building dates from 1895 and is a listed monument under Hessian heritage law, making it one of the few surviving Gründerzeit-era structures on the Taunus railway. Its modest scale and period detailing are typical of small imperial-era rural stations built during the rapid expansion of Germany's regional rail network in the late 19th century.
