Delmenhorst station
Railway History
Wuppertal-Ronsdorf station sits on the Wuppertal-Oberbarmen–Opladen railway line and today operates as a straightforward passenger stop in the Ronsdorf district of Wuppertal. Its claim to railway-history interest lies in the past: three different track gauges once converged here — standard gauge, narrow gauge, and the gauge of the Ronsdorf tramway — an exceptionally rare configuration in Germany. Nothing of that multi-gauge infrastructure survives today, making this a stop of note mainly for railway historians rather than general visitors.
