Botanischer Garten

The Botanical Garden of the University of Münster is a scientific display garden founded in 1803, tucked directly behind the Prince-Bishop's Palace within the sprawling Schlosspark. Operated by the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität, it serves both research and teaching, maintaining a curated collection of native and exotic plant species. Entry is free, with seasonal opening hours running until 19:00 in summer and 16:00 in winter. Its quiet location between the palace grounds and the city centre makes it a calm detour for anyone interested in botany or simply looking for shade and greenery.
