Breiteberg

The Breiteberg is a modest forested summit in the Eastern Oberlausitz region of Saxony, serving as the local home mountain of the village of Hainewalde. A straightforward woodland trail leads to the top in around 30 minutes from Hainewalde — a short, family-friendly ascent requiring no special equipment. The summit offers views across the gently rolling Oberlausitz landscape. It is not a major tourist draw but a quiet retreat for the communities around Großschönau and Hainewalde.
