Bremen Hauptbahnhof

Bremen Hauptbahnhof sits northeast of the old city centre in the Bahnhofsvorstadt district and serves as the Hanseatic city's primary long-distance rail hub. Its main building was designed in Neorenaissance style and is listed under Bremen heritage law, making it one of the few major German stations where the Wilhelmine-era facade has been largely preserved. Around 147,000 travellers pass through daily, placing it eleventh among Germany's busiest intercity stations. In 2012 Allianz pro Schiene named it 'City Station of the Year', citing its full wheelchair accessibility and direct ICE services to Hamburg, Hanover, and Frankfurt.
