Breskul

Breskul is a 1,911-metre peak in the Ukrainian Carpathians, straddling the boundary between Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast and Zakarpattia Oblast in the Rakhiv district. It forms part of the Chornohora massif, the highest mountain range in Ukraine, sitting close to the country's highest point, Hoverla. Hikers typically reach Breskul via the Chornohora ridge trail, regarded as one of the finest high-altitude routes in the Ukrainian Carpathians. The summit opens onto a broad panorama of subalpine meadows, forested valleys, and the rolling ridgelines of neighbouring peaks, with clear days extending far into the Transcarpathian lowlands.
