Calder House
Country House
Also known as: Rheindorfer Burg
The Graurheindorf Castle is a small moated manor in the northern Bonn district of Graurheindorf, with origins in the 13th century but its present buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. For long stretches it was the seat of local noble families managing an estate on the left bank of the Rhine. A two-storey hipped-roof manor house and remains of an outer bailey survive; the original moat is only partly visible today. The castle is listed but privately owned and not open to the public; the facade and grounds can be viewed from the surrounding streets.
