Deutsches Museum Bonn

Also known as: Deutsches Museum (Bonn), German Museum Bonn

The Deutsches Museum Bonn is the Munich Deutsches Museum's satellite branch in the Plittersdorf district of Bonn, opened in 1995. Its original focus was on German top-tier research after 1945: biology, chemistry, medical technology, aerospace, physics and ecology - around one hundred objects showcasing Nobel-prize work and Leitz microscopes. Since 2020 the concept has been broadened: mathematics and hands-on science stations now complement the original exhibits. The museum sits in southern Bonn near the science quarter and aims particularly at school groups and families. Admission modest, combined ticketing with other Bonn museums available.
