1710 Baroque palace on the Grand Canal housing both a modern art and oriental art museum

Ca Pesaro is a Baroque city palace from the early 18th century, standing directly on the Grand Canal in Venice. The building was completed in 1710 and is considered one of the most significant Baroque structures in Venice. Designed by architect Baldassare Longhena, it features ornately carved white marble facades that reflect impressively in the Grand Canal. Today the palace houses two museums: the Museo d'Arte Moderna with works from the 19th and early 20th centuries, and the Museo d'Arte Orientale with one of the most significant East Asian collections in Europe. The palace is protected as an Italian National Monument.
