The International Land-Sea Center is a skyscraper on the banks of the Jialing River in the Yuzhong district of Chongqing, China. Standing 458 meters tall with 98 stories, it is set to become the tallest building in Chongqing upon completion. The tower is the centerpiece of the Chongqing Tian Di master plan, an urban redevelopment of 3.6 million square meters with eleven towers in the downtown core. The building's curved, tapering form is inspired by the sailing ships that once crowded the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. It exemplifies China's ambitions in supertall tower construction, concentrated in one of the world's most populous cities.
