Chongqing Poly Tower
High-RiseContemporary ArchitectureSkyscraper+1
When it opened in 2005, the Chongqing World Trade Center briefly held the title of the city's tallest skyscraper at 283 metres across 60 floors. The tower stands in Yuzhong's business core and, with its slender, distinctly square form, belongs to the first generation of modern Chongqing office giants before the later wave from Jiangbei and the Jiefangbei plateau overtook it. Today it houses offices, a conference area, and lower-floor retail. It remains a reliable visual anchor in Yuzhong's dense high-rise cluster.
