Air Albania Stadium

Air Albania Stadium in central Tirana is Albania's largest football stadium, with 22,000 seats and serving as home ground of the national team. Opened in November 2019 as Arena Kombetare, it replaced the old Qemal Stafa Stadium. Architect Marco Casamonti integrated a 22-story hotel tower directly into the south stand so fans can watch the pitch from their hotel rooms. The red perforated steel facade is patterned after the Albanian double-headed eagle. The stadium is UEFA category 4 certified and hosts the Albanian Cup Final. The forecourt with its fountains fills with thousands of fans before matches. Non-fans can still visit the 22nd-floor hotel restaurant for the view over Tirana.
