The Estadio Municipal de Concepción – officially Estadio Alcaldesa Ester Roa Rebolledo – is the main multi-purpose stadium in Chile's second-largest city. Originally opened in 1962 as Estadio Regional with a capacity of 35,000, it was fully renovated in 2015 and now seats 30,448. Three local football clubs – CD Universidad de Concepción, CD Arturo Fernández Vial, and Deportes Concepción – call it home. The venue also includes an athletics track, making it a true multi-sport facility for the region.
