The Galeries nationales du Grand Palais are the exhibition spaces of the famous Grand Palais in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, along the Champs-Elysees. Built for the 1900 World Fair, the building with its magnificent glass roof is one of the most impressive examples of Belle Epoque architecture. The galleries host major international exhibitions – from classical art to contemporary retrospectives. Shows dedicated to Monet, Rubens, or Picasso regularly draw hundreds of thousands of visitors. Following a comprehensive renovation, the venue shone anew during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
