Classic wooden roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm (1998) — one of the best wooden coasters on the West Coast.
GhostRider is a wooden roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park near Los Angeles, built by Custom Coasters International and opened on 8 December 1998. With a track length of around 1,220 metres and a top speed of roughly 90 km/h, it ranks among the largest wooden coasters on the West Coast. After a comprehensive restoration in 2016 it is regarded as one of the best wooden coasters in North America. The characteristic thrill comes from the rattling, woody ride feel that steel coasters simply cannot replicate.
