Dorfkirche Kolrep
Middle AgesVillage ChurchListed Building
The church ruin in Altthymen, a district of Fürstenberg/Havel in Brandenburg, is what remains of an evangelical-Lutheran parish church built in 1873 in the Romanesque Revival style. Listed as a heritage monument in Brandenburg, it stands as an open ruin with partially intact outer walls and empty window arches. Little is documented about the precise circumstances of its decline; the Lutheran parish of Fürstenberg maintains it as a historical site. Visitors encounter a quiet, unadorned ruin at the edge of a small village — less a tourist destination than a contemplative remnant of 19th-century rural church history.
