Dorfkirche Wernitz

Also known as: Dorfkirche Wernitz (Havelland)

The Protestant village church of Wernitz is a listed brick structure built in 1856 in the small Brandenburg community of Wustermark, Havelland district. Constructed during the Gründerzeit period, it follows the modest neo-Romanesque brick typology common to rural Brandenburg congregations of the mid-19th century. It belongs to the Wustermark parish within the Falkensee church district. Modest in scale and largely unknown outside the immediate area, it remains the defining landmark of this small village.
