Mesenich

Mesenich is a small wine-growing village on the Moselle river in the Cochem-Zell district of Rhineland-Palatinate, served by a passenger ferry operated by Gebr. Kolb that offers a direct crossing of the river. The village sits amid the steep vineyard slopes characteristic of the narrow Moselle valley, with Riesling cultivation defining the local landscape. For cyclists on the Moselle Cycle Route, the ferry provides a convenient way to cross between banks, making Mesenich a brief but practical stop.
