Gdańsk Bridge

Also known as: Danziger Brücke

Double-deck Vistula bridge on the Warsaw inner ring road, named after the nearby Gdanski railway station. Trams and trains use the lower deck, while road traffic including regional routes 634 and 637 runs above. On the west bank the bridge crosses Ulica Wybrzeze Gdynskie and a section of the popular Bulwar Zbigniewa Religi riverside promenade, which on summer evenings turns into an open-air bar strip. More backdrop than destination for visitors, but a prominent piece of Warsaw transport architecture seen from the embankment.
