Also known as: Belweder in Warsaw

Warsaw

Built in 1660 as a Baroque palace, remodelled in Neoclassical style in 1818 - today the official residence of the Polish president and state guest house. Belweder sits on a hill overlooking the western edge of Lazienki Park; from Napoleon generals through Marshal Pilsudski to Lech Walesa, Poland leaders have lived here.
