Sants Estació

Barcelona-Sants is the city's principal mainline railway station, opened in 1975 in the Sants-Montjuïc district. Its concrete structure reflects the functional late-Franco-era modernism of its construction period. The station sits on the high-speed rail corridor connecting Madrid, Barcelona, and the French border, making it the main departure point for AVE services as well as a key interchange for the Metro and local rail network. The station is fully wheelchair accessible.
