Introduced in 1992, the T-90 is Russia's primary export tank — a T-72 evolution featuring Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armour, an improved fire control system, and the Shtora infrared jammer against anti-tank missiles. Exported in the hundreds, including to India which manufactures it as the T-90S. The exhibit represents Russian tank design of the post-Soviet 1990s.
