Sirius Arena

The Adler Arena is an indoor speed-skating oval in the Adler district of Sochi, built in 2012 specifically to host the 2014 Winter Olympics. Situated about 35 kilometres from central Sochi within the purpose-built Olympic Park cluster, it hosted all speed-skating events during the Games. Like many purpose-built Olympic venues, it has since grappled with the question of sustainable post-Games use, continuing to serve ice-sports training and occasional competitions.
