Alatau
Alatau is a station on Almaty Metro's Line A, opened on 1 December 2011 as part of the city's inaugural metro section. It served as the western terminus of the line until a further extension opened in April 2015. For visitors it is a functional transit stop with no particular cultural or sightseeing significance.
