Co-Cathedral of St. Alexander, Kyiv

Kyiv

Oldest Roman Catholic church in Kyiv (1817), neoclassical co-cathedral of the Diocese of Kyiv.

St. Alexander's is the oldest and most prominent Roman Catholic church in Kyiv, built in 1817 in neoclassical style. Serving as co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kyiv, it is the centre of the Latin Church in the Ukrainian capital. Its neoclassical facade with portico distinguishes it clearly from the city's Orthodox church architecture.
