The Alvear Tower is Argentina's tallest building, opened in 2019 in the luxury Puerto Madero district of Buenos Aires. Rising approximately 233 metres across 49 residential floors and four penthouse levels, it is the premier residential high-rise on the continent. Puerto Madero is Argentina's most expensive real estate district, transformed from historic harbour docks into an exclusive waterfront neighbourhood from the 1990s onward.
