Amsterdam Lelylaan

Amsterdam Lelylaan is a through-station operated by NS in the western part of Amsterdam, connecting intercity and regional trains with two Amsterdam Metro lines. It takes its name from Cornelis Lely, the hydraulic engineer who designed the Zuiderzee Works, the vast land-reclamation project that reshaped the Dutch coastline in the early twentieth century. The station functions primarily as a practical interchange for the Nieuw-West and Slotervaart districts and is fully wheelchair accessible. It holds no architectural or tourist significance beyond its transit function.
