Anvers

Anvers station sits on Line 2 of the Paris Métro in the 18th arrondissement, opened in the early decades of the 20th century as part of the city's first wave of underground construction. It holds protected historic monument status, preserving the curved tile work and ornamental detailing characteristic of the original Métro aesthetic associated with Hector Guimard's early network design. In practice, most visitors use it as the most direct underground entry point to Sacré-Cœur and the Montmartre quarter. The station has no wheelchair access.
