Wojsławice Arboretum

Wojsławice Arboretum sits in the Lower Silesian town of Niemcza and has been a branch of the University of Wrocław's Botanical Garden since 1988. Founded in 1881 on the grounds of the former Woislowitz castle park, the estate spent decades in private hands before transitioning to scientific stewardship. The arboretum is particularly celebrated for its extensive rhododendron and azalea collection, which transforms the landscape into a mass of colour each spring. With over a century of established growth, the heritage-listed grounds hold rare woody species from across the world, laid out along the sweeping paths and sight lines of an English landscape park. It remains a quiet refuge for botanical study and leisurely walks alike.
